The Really Useful Group is offering two paid internships for a two-month period from July - August 2025. The successful candidates will work alongside industry professionals across various departments to support the delivery of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s incredible IP in the Entertainment sector.

THEATRICAL & LIVE / CONSUMER PRODUCTS INTERNSHIP
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across our Commercial department, with a focus on supporting the Theatrical & Live team, with exposure to our Consumer Products / Merchandise approach and process.
The Commercial department is responsible for planning, licensing, and overseeing the quality of products and experiences across Theatrical and Live, Immersive and Themed Entertainment, Consumer Products (CP), and Merchandise in line with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Musicals’ franchise strategy. Tasks will involve:
- Production Calendar - Maintaining & updating the central production calendar, ensuring any changes or updates are recorded accurately;
- Production filing - Updating other spreadsheets as required, e.g the live Territories Roadmap, as well as sorting/updating/maintaining e-filing systems;
- PowerPoint presentations - Assisting with updating decks for partner presentations;
- Analysing Show Reports – reading show reports as they come in and reporting anything of significance to the team;
- Approvals Process - Updating and organising approval documents;
- Shadowing T&L Team – Attending meetings, events and other forums where required for exposure to the process of licensing an ALW production;
- Trend Research – Conduct trend research on product categories and brands;
- Administration - Manage Consumer Products folder structure;
- Ad Hoc Assisting - Support with pitch tools and any external partner needs.
BRAND & FRANCHISE / MUSIC STRATEGY INTERNSHIP
Another incredible opportunity to work with two, newly developed departments in the business who cover Brand & Franchise development and Music Strategy.
The Brand & Franchise team are pivotal in developing and delivering a range of business activities and IP exploitations, for key Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals. These franchise plans include new category exploration across the Entertainment industry from location-based experiences to consumer products to new publishing formats to digital projects and more.
The Music Strategy team play a pivotal role in shaping the future of recorded and published music within RUG. Their primary focus is on maximising the potential of our existing catalogue and spearheading the development of new commercial music ventures by aligning closely with our Brand & Franchise and Theatrical Production and Licensing teams.
Tasks will involve:
- Competitor Research - Exploring what competitors are doing in terms of releases and marketing;
- Analytics Reporting - looking at all our data dashboards and compiling weekly reports;
- Social Media Analysis - Identifying trends and ALW music-related content;
- Content Creation - Using photoshop to create social assets (this is a desirable skill, not a necessary skill, so please don’t let it discourage you from applying if you’re not familiar with photoshop or similar software):
- Product Organisation - Sorting out all the physical music product we have in the office, organising and scanning images;
- General Marketing support – Assisting the Brand & Franchise team with their day to day needs.
