Chinese folk group Zi De Qin She has released a The Phantom of the Opera medley using traditional Chinese instruments. The medley, which includes Think of Me, The Music of the Night and the title song, is a stunning reimagination of some of the show's most iconic hits. Watch the music video now:

The traditional instrumental ensemble was founded in 2014 by a group of young musicians with a shared passion for traditional Chinese culture. Their viral videos have been met with enthusiasm by millions of viewers worldwide. This cover comes just as the Mandarin production of The Phantom of the Opera opens in Shenzhen after a hugely successful leg in Shanghai.
