School of Rock Conquers China

You can't stop the School of Rock!

As School of Rock's unprecedented seven-city China tour comes to a close, it's encouraging to see that the empowering message of rock is alive and well! An Australian cast took the tour to the country - a tour which sold out in Shanghai due to popularity - and also featured in the final challenge of the national Chinese talent show “iActor”, which saw six finalists perform the School of Rock original soundtracks 'If Only You Would Listen’ and ‘Stick It To The Man’, in an effort to win the “iActor triple-threat” crown.

School of Rock has also seen an unprecedented popularity with schools across China. See images below of the moment 200 teachers were invited to an exclusive hands-on session getting to know the music and the cast.This month, the show will continue to South Korea, kick-starting a total 12-week run in Seoul and Busan. Simultaneously, the musical will also open in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia.
