Today, 29 August, marks the release of the brand-new dance remix of Don’t Cry for Me Argentina by Rachel Zegler, titled the New Miami Mix.

The New Miami Mix follows Madonna’s iconic 1996 “Miami Mix” of the same song, which became a global club hit. Zegler’s version features a new vocal specially recorded for the remix that incorporates spoken Spanish words in the middle 8.

The track was produced by Supermini (aka Ramon Lopez), one of Spain’s most respected and enduring DJ/producers, alongside 2118 – both known for their previous dance remixes of the title track from The Phantom of the Opera.

Rachel Zegler will appear at a special record signing event at Rough Trade West in London on Monday, 1 September where she’ll be meeting fans and signing copies of the 7” vinyl of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina which has topped the UK Vinyl Singles chart on two occasions since it’s initial release in July.

Evita ends its spectacular limited season at The London Palladium on September 6th.
