Reflecting on her win on Instagram later, Carrie elaborated that she was ‘utterly overwhelmed’ and that it was ‘glorious to be back in a room with so many theatrical people after a pandemic’, and to be nominated alongside those she has watched perform in awe as a ‘theatre loving kid’.Carrie wasn’t the only Cinderella attendee at the prestigious award ceremony, as cast members and fellow nominees Rebecca Trehearn (The Queen) and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (The Stepmother) also gave an incredible performance of ‘I Know You’ from the show at the awards.
