World Theatre Day 2025: Team ALW Musicals visited St. Pancras International to celebrate the work of Andrew Lloyd Webber and officially name the new public piano…Phantom!
The afternoon was filled with unforgettable moments, including a special visit from the famous LW Theatre Red Coats, who came to share in the excitement and hand out goodie bags and specially commissioned map of ALW shows and LW theatres.
We were also joined by the exceptionally talented Musical Theatre students from The BRIT School, who brought some of our most beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber songs to life to the delight of the public.

About World Theatre Day
Every year on 27 March, theatre lovers worldwide come together to celebrate World Theatre Day - a day dedicated to the power of live performance and its ability to inspire, educate, and unite audiences across cultures.
Established in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI), an organisation founded by UNESCO to promote cultural exchange and artistic collaboration and has become a global celebration.
In an age dominated by digital entertainment, live theatre remains a unique and irreplaceable experience, and the day shines a spotlight on theatre’s vital role in society and to encourage governments, institutions, and individuals to support and appreciate the performing arts.
