The Annual Tony Awards took place last night at New York's Radio City Music Hall- and what a spectacular celebration of musical theatre it was.

CATS: The Jellicle Ball was awarded three Tony Awards: Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Costume Design of a Musical. Receiving the award for Best Costume Design, Qween Jean made history as the first openly trans person to win a Tony Award.

This reimagined production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's global phenomenon CATS is a kaleidoscope of glittering spectacle, iconic music and electrifying ballroom choreography. The bold and exhilarating revival exploded onto the Broadway scene in April, capturing audiences with its fresh and contemporary vision. Broadway meets Runway in the fiercest event of the season.

The Winning Categories:

Best Direction of a Musical - Zhailon Levingston and Bill Rauch

Best Choreography - Omari Wiles and Arturo Lyons

Best Costume Design of a Musical - Qween Jean

The evening also featured a special performance from the cast, bringing the energy and excitement of The Jellicle Ball to the Tony Awards stage in a truly unforgettable moment.
