Masquerade, the new Phantom of the Opera experience created by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Paulus, produced by Randy Weiner, has officially opened on 57th Street in New York City.
Masquerade blurs the lines of reality, bringing audiences inside and closer than ever before to the strange affair of The Phantom of the Opera – a mystery never fully explained. From the highest rooftop to the subterranean lair deep below the Opera Populaire, guests are invited to experience the music of the night more intimately than ever before.
“Masquerade is a thrill ride of spectacle, song, and story.” — Playbill
“The Phantom of the Opera may have vanished from the Majestic Theatre, but there’s plenty of majesty to be found on 57th Street.” — New York Post
“Masquerade looks and sounds consistently glorious, as if we really are in an opera house.” — The Daily Beast
“It’s an extraordinary technical feat… for the design to evoke the sensual world of Phantom at close range.” — Washington Post
“Breathlessly exciting” — The New York Times
Masquerade is on sale through February 2026. Don’t miss the Phantom’s return to New York.
