Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera – New Book To Launch

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera will see an exciting publishing programme in 2026, thanks to a partnership between LW Entertainment and Penguin Random House.  

First to launch in Autumn 2026 will be OUR STRANGE DUET, a young adult reimagining of this timeless Gothic love story that will bring a new voice to Christine Daaé, a central charcater of the iconic Phantom story.    

Written by #1 New York Times bestselling author Erin A. Craig (House of Salt and Sorrows and House of Roots and Ruin), it will position Christine front and centre as she navigates life at the Paris Opera House.

Our Strange Duet will be published by Delacorte Press (US) and Penguin Random House Children's (UK). This will be the first exciting project in the launch of the expanded Phantom universe.  

Further publishing in Autumn 2026 includes 3 books for younger readers from Little Golden Books and a new celebratory coffee-table book from Crown/Ten Speed Press and by Ebury Press in the UK.
