Andrew Lloyd Webber Dusts Off The DJ Decks For ‘Phantom’ Reopening
The Phantom of the Opera has returned to Broadway following a hugely successful opening night last Friday – and it’s safe to say it was celebrated in style with an unforgettable party and performance from Andrew Lloyd Webber himself!
For those who missed it, Andrew dusted off the decks after the show and performed a DJ set in a celebratory block party outside the Majestic Theatre. One of the epic tracks in Andrew’s set was the Phantom of the Opera (Remix), which you can take a look at below.
Andrew’s DJ set was met with viral success, with worldwide acclaim across social media platforms, blogs and more. The set also included remixes of tracks from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella. Attendees at the party included Laura Linney, Joel Gray, Senator Chuck Schumer and contestants from both “The Bachelorette” and “Real Housewives of New York” – and a great time was truly had by all.
This marks The Phantom of the Opera‘s first performance on Broadway since the pandemic began, and Andrew is thrilled at the opening night’s success, as well as the show’s return to the US.
