With music written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black and Charles Hart, based on the novel by David Garnett, Aspects of Love tells the story of passion, love, life and loss across three generations of a family and their artistic companions, against a backdrop of 1940s France and Italy. ‘Love Changes Everything’ was a huge hit for Michael Ball, who starred in the original production in London and on Broadway. It was first produced at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London in 1989, and transferred to Broadway in 1990, opening at the Broadhurst Theatre.

It has toured the UK and been produced in South Africa, at the Menier Chocolate Factory, in Holland, and more recently, at The Playhouse, Whitley Bay.

A new production of Aspects of Love, reimagined for the 21st century, starring Michael Ball and directed by Jonathan Kent, will open at the Lyric Theatre in May 2023.
