Andrew is the composer of The Likes of Us, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatÂź, Jesus Christ Superstar, By Jeeves, Evita, Variations and Tell Me On A Sunday later combined as Song & Dance, Cats, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Whistle Down the Wind, The Beautiful Game, The Woman in White and Love Never Dies.

He has also produced in the West End and on Broadway not only his own work but the Olivier award-winning plays La BĂȘte and 1983’s Daisy Pulls It Off. He also produced The Hired Man, Lend Me A Tenor and Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart’s On Your Toes at London’s Palace Theatre.

In 2002, Andrew collaborated with top Bollywood composer A.R. Rahman on Bombay Dreams, a colourful extravaganza set against the backdrop of India’s famous Bollywood film industry. The script was provided by actress and author Meera Syal, and the lyrics by Don Black.

In 2006 he presented a new production of Evita in London and a unique version of The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas. The Sound of Music was also revived at the London Palladium and the leading role (won by Connie Fisher) was cast via the BBC TV series “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?”.

In 2007 Joseph was revived at the Adelphi in London and the leading role (won by Lee Mead) was cast via the BBC TV series “Any Dream Will Do”.

He has been a theatre owner since acquiring the Palace Theatre in 1983 and now owns seven London theatres including the Palace, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the London Palladium.
