Really Useful Group

Production & Marketing Internship

« Return to Careers

The Really Useful Group is wholly owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and exists to produce, licence and promote his shows and music around the globe, including his new Broadway musical, Bad Cinderella, and some of the world’s longest running and most successful musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, CATS, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Sunset Boulevard and School of Rock – The Musical. The Really Useful Group works across theatre, film and television, producing and developing new projects and partnerships worldwide, alongside ongoing work in education, amateur licensing and music publishing. Each year, across markets in every corner of the world, The Really Useful Group’s content reaches and is shared by hundreds of millions of people.

The Really Useful Group is offering TWO two-month, paid internship opportunities to Black, Asian or ethnically diverse talent, interested in pursuing a career in production or marketing in the theatre industry. The successful applicants will work alongside industry professionals on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s catalogue of work.

Theatre plays a huge part in British culture and surveys continue to highlight that Black, Asian and ethnically diverse individuals are widely under-represented within the sector. At The Really Useful Group, we are dedicated to diversifying our workforce and these internships form part of our broader commitment to championing a more diverse theatre industry in the future.

What we are offering

The successful applicants to our intern programme will benefit from hands-on experience working mainly with the Marketing and Production & Licensing teams at The Really Useful Group’s Head Office, situated in the heart of London’s theatre district. You will get unique opportunities to acquire new skills working behind the scenes on some of the world’s best-known musicals. You will be assigned a mentor throughout your internship, gain industry knowledge, get to share your learning experiences with your intern buddy, and be supported in progressing your career aspirations.

To be eligible for these internships you must be 18 – 25 years old and from an ethnic minority background. These are paid internships, based on a pro rata annual salary of £22k, with a two-week salary advance paid to you in your first week.
