‘No Matter What,’ from the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Jim Steinman musical Whistle Down The Wind, was recorded by Irish boyband Boyzone for the Whistle Down The Wind concept album and released as a single in August 1998. The track reached number one in the UK single charts on 9th August.

The concept album for _Whistle Down The Wind_also included performances from Tom Jones, Michael Ball, Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler and Tina Arena’s version of the title track ‘Whistle Down The Wind.’
