School of Rock Open Auditions
This is the start of a big fishing expedition!
We are searching for brilliantly talented children who can sing, act and play rock instruments … so no big deal!
In America, over 22,000 children auditioned and we created a band who can rock out with the best. We now need to discover that band in the UK, not just kids who can sing and act.
Our amazing new show depends on it and if we do, our West End production will open in Spring 2017. So kids, get the metal out, strut the stuff and help us stick it to the man!
Children must be aged 8-12yrs (9yrs when rehearsals start – currently March 2017) and under 5ft/152 cm.
We are searching for strong actors and singers with unbroken gospel/rock/pop voices and children who either play the guitar, bass, piano and/or drums to a high standard and who, with training, will flourish in their discipline. (Please note, not all children are required to play instruments.)
Auditions will be held in London and children of all ethnicities, from across the UK are encouraged to apply.
All children will need to be available for further auditions early July, as well as throughout the summer holidays for potential training.
