Love Never Dies number 1 in mid-week charts

Love Never Dies was released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK and Ireland  this week, and yesterday’s mid-week charts saw the film release of the Australian production go straight to number one, hitting the top spot in the midweek Music DVD chart.

Love Never Dies was also the highest charting non-film release in the UK’s overall top 200 midweek DVD sales chart, reaching number 4 – just behind new DVD releases The Twilight Saga (1), The Help (2) and Jane Eyre (3).

The Australian production of Love Never Dies – described by Andrew as “one of the finest productions I’ve ever seen of my work, anywhere” – was screened in cinemas across the United States earlier this month, to great response. The film, which stars Ben Lewis as The Phantom and Anna O’Byrne as Christine, will be broadcast in Canadian cinemas in April and is available on DVD in the UK, Ireland, Australia and a number of other territories.
