The show is one of four nominees vying for the International Emmy for non-scripted entertainment. The other nominees are Argentina’s CQC, Spain’s The Prison Choir and Japan’s Takeshi Kitano presents Comaneci Univertsity Mathematics.

More than 500 judges in 35 countries were tasked with whittling down submissions to a final list of 38 nominees in nine categories.

Winners of the 35th International Emmy Awards, which honour television produced outside the US, will be revealed on 19 November in New York.
