Andrew and Julian join tribute to the late Ian Adam

Andrew Lloyd Webber and his brother Julian will perform publicly together for only the second time in their lives on Sunday when they join dozens of other theatre luminaries to pay tribute to the late Ian Adam.

They will be performing two pieces, including Andrew’s “Pie Jesu”, at the tribute concert, which has been entitled “I’d like to teach the world to sing.”

Sir Roger Moore, Jeremy Irons, Helena Bonham Carter, Elaine Paige, Wayne Sleep, Bonnie Langford and Gloria Hunniford will also be performing their own personal tributes at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday.

Ian, who sadly passed away in May last year, believed that he could teach anyone to sing and proceeds from the event will go towards a project called _Singing for Breathing_ which aims to help patients with respiratory problems at Royal Brompton Hospital, where Ian was treated for many years.

The evening, which is being billed as “I’d like to teach the world to sing”, is directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne. Peter French produces. Tickets are now on sale for this unique tribute and can be purchased via the See Tickets website at www.seetickets.com or by calling 0844 412 4657.
