Andrew and Danielle Hope on The One Show

This Friday 28th January, Andrew Lloyd Webber takes a seat on _The One Show_ sofa to discuss his upcoming production of _The Wizard of Oz_.

With rehearsals now well underway at The London Palladium and the first preview on 7th February just around the yellow brick road, Andrew will share his thoughts on the show, which reunites him with lyricist Tim Rice. Andrew and Tim have composed several new songs for the production, which feature alongside all the much-loved _Wizard of Oz_ classics, and the new production also sees Michael Crawford return to the Palladium to play The Wizard.

BBC1′s _The One Show_ also features an interview with Danielle Hope, who will play Dorothy after successfully competing against more than 9,000 girls to secure the role during last year’s BBC1 TV search, _Over The Rainbow_. Danielle is interviewed direct from her London Palladium dressing room.

Watch Andrew and Danielle on The One Show this Friday 28th January, from 7pm on BBC1.

_The Wizard of Oz_ opens on 1st March 2011, with previews from 7th February.
